Oh, father can you hear my plea?
We bow before Infernal Majesty
Miasma, mist most befouled
Decimate the unavowed creatures of despair
Fiend of the Night Air
Grimoire's cursed ancient texts, bound in skin of those it's hexed
Submit to the pagan gods, pledge your service in a bloody bond
Conduct rites with your last breath, unfurl a miasma of death
Putrid scent from the fire, nothing but bone and iron
The charred remains spewing forth toxic mists. Noxious fumes course in their veins.
Beyond this coil, pestilence in the womb. Rise again from profaned soil.
Persecute the covens. Vile creation of a darkened faith.
never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu
I'm kicking my own ass for somehow missing this when it released. Expertly arranged death metal with kick drums that could demolish a high-rise. zirtonic
Featuring members of Noothgrush, Graves at Sea, and more, the Oakland metal band juxtapose cavernous doom with spaced-out shoegaze. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 21, 2024
An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal
